The customer support was top-notch. I’ve purchased a handful of products from Warco; they showed up quickly and matched the description. One of the items was a set of end mills/slot mills - they were priced well but didn’t quite meet my quality expectations. I returned them, and they processed my refund without any hassle.

"Outstanding support from start to finish..."
I got outstanding support during the whole process of choosing, buying, and receiving my new lathe. It arrived safely and right on time. There was a tiny part that wasn’t quite right, but Tim from Warco sent a replacement within a day, and he was super polite in all our chats. Honestly, the service is top-notch. It's a breath of fresh air these days.

"Top-notch customer support"
I purchased a rear toolpost along with a parting blade for my Myford lathe. The height can only be adjusted using shims, so it’s gotta be right from the get-go. Mine ended up a millimeter too high, which meant I had to skim it down on a mill. I called up Warco, thinking they’d just swap it out, but I was pleasantly surprised when they offered to fix it for me. They even set up a courier to pick it up and drop it back off at no extra cost, and they had it all sorted in just a couple of days. That’s what I call good old-fashioned customer service. Definitely recommend them!

"Warco CJ0618 Mini Lathe Review"
I got my hands on the Warco CJ0618 Mini Lathe almost two decades back. It's been a fantastic workhorse for me. Sure, there have been a couple of minor issues over the years, but they've always been resolved quickly with great advice. Finally, after 19 years, the drive belt fell apart along with the motor drive pulley. Warco was super helpful; I got a call from an engineer, and the parts showed up the very next day. Honestly, saying I'm pleased with their service is an understatement! Big thanks to Warco.

Friendly folks to work with. I appreciate that they’re not just some faceless online store; they actually have a showroom you can check out. I found them to be quite knowledgeable—though I should mention I’m no pro engineer, just a newbie, honestly. During my visit, I grabbed some lathe cutting tools and a digital caliper. Everything’s been great up to now, but if anything goes wrong, I’ll let you know. So far, the quality of the items seems top-notch.

"Lathe that's 15 years old"
I picked up a Warco gear head lathe back in 2006 for my little business (I craft motorcycle parts), and it's been a reliable workhorse that's still holding up well today.
"High Hopes, Low Satisfaction"
Had high hopes, but I ended up feeling let down. I bought a few items from Warco; on the plus side, their delivery is super quick, but that’s where the good stuff ends. The customer service is just terrible. I ordered a boring tool for my milling machine, and they sent me the wrong one. When I brought it to their attention, they just shrugged it off and told me to return it at my expense for a refund. I mean, come on, they messed up, so why should I cover the return shipping? Plus, the lathe I got three weeks back has developed a small issue, and I haven’t heard a peep from them about it. Why am I paying top dollar for a service that’s worse than what I’d get from an average eBay seller?

Had a fantastic experience with Warco overall. The dispatch team was super helpful, and I could keep an eye on my order through the courier's app. This bench hobby drill is a solid tool, and I’d definitely suggest it. "My Experience with Warco Machines"
I've owned a couple of machines from Warco, and I gotta say, both were top-notch regarding specs, accuracy, and price. I’ve sold the lathe and am now on the lookout for a larger one, plus a bandsaw. I get that stock delays have been a result of covid and maybe brexit as well (not to forget the Suez Canal situation). Still, I'm willing to hang tight because I believe they’re a solid company trying their best during these tough times.

"Issues with Warco's Dispatch"
It looks like Warco is having some trouble with their shipping, possibly due to Covid. I placed an order for a CY90 bandsaw, and boy, was there a long wait—20 days for it to show up! The CY90 bandsaw is your standard imported tool, priced well, but the quality could definitely use some improvement. When it finally arrived, the saw was operational, but it required a bit of adjustment to really shine. I had to do some machining to fix the run-out on the driven and idler wheels. Now, it runs smoothly and should serve me well for many years to come.
"Avoid Warco at All Costs"
Where do I even begin? I bought a GH Universal Mill, along with a stand and some accessories back in January 2020 for my own use. When it showed up, the machine came with paperwork that was neither signed nor filled out to confirm that quality control checks had been performed. This was a big reason I picked Warco over other brands, thanks to their supposed 'quality checks,' so it was a letdown to see that this step was skipped. At first, I thought maybe they just forgot to finish the paperwork.
I used the machine a few times, and it quickly became clear that the column wasn’t aligned with the bed, but I figured a couple of shims would fix that. Then, in August 2020, things took a turn for the worse when the gearbox went haywire, breaking all the main shafts, stripping the gears, and damaging the bearings and casing. I reached out to Warco with photos to file a warranty claim. Over the course of a week, I spoke to several folks there to arrange for a new mill to be sent and the old one picked up. They told me their courier only did curbside collections and wouldn’t help with getting the machine from my workshop to the curb. When the first machine was delivered, I had a team help me move it into place using hoists. Now, I was expected to lift a 350kg machine onto a pallet for them to collect, all at my own expense? Anyway, eventually, Palletways picked up the old machine, and the new one was set up.
The replacement machine arrived, and once again, the quality check documents were missing, plus it had some serious issues right off the bat. The column was still not square to the table, there was an absurd amount of play in the x and y axes, the head jammed up and down because the column was bent, and the machine kept jumping out of gear. After just a couple of days with the new machine, I reached out to Warco again to discuss my options. No fuss, no need for photos, no explanations, and no staff member came to check the machine - they immediately offered a refund and to pick it up. But again, I had to deal with the logistics of moving the machine for collection at my own cost. We set a date for the pickup.
On the agreed day, Palletways showed up at 5:30pm with the same size vehicle they had used before. The driver was hesitant to use his pallet truck to move the pallet just a few meters from the curb to his truck and decided to walk off. I called Palletways right away, and by then, it had started pouring rain. They told me they had hired a third party to handle the collection and gave me the number for another courier. I called them, and they said their driver couldn’t access the area to pick up the pallet. I explained that there was a £2500 machine sitting in the rain, and there were no access issues; the driver just wanted to leave at 5:30pm on a Friday. The woman I spoke to was incredibly rude, saying that driving a lorry isn’t the same as driving a car?! (I’m an HGV mechanic - really?!) I called Palletways back to inform them of the conversation I just had and told them I wouldn’t take any responsibility if the machine got damaged from the rain or stolen since it was left on the curb. They were helpful and arranged for their own driver to collect it the following Saturday morning.
Saturday morning rolls around... at 6am, I get a phone call, actually two calls (since I missed the first one) from that lousy courier company Palletways had subcontracted to collect the machine, saying they had a driver nearby and could they pick it up? No way! It’s 6am, and you should’ve collected it at 5:30pm yesterday! Let’s just say the person on the other end got an earful from me that early on a weekend! The nerve! Eventually, Palletways managed to collect the pallet directly around 10am. It took me two weeks to get my refund from Warco after countless phone calls and emails chasing the money. They mentioned they process all refunds in a 'big batch,' which makes me wonder how many others have had the misfortune of dealing with them. Overall, it was a really frustrating and poorly handled experience. I’d strongly recommend steering clear of them. Consider buying an older machine instead to save yourself the hassle.

I've shopped with Warco multiple times, and they've been super helpful each time. Just recently, I had a situation with a faulty part in my order, and they handled it like pros. They sorted it out quickly, and I got the replacement the very next working day. Honestly, you can't ask for better service than that!
